Not a day's drive from Prescott is the Yavapai County, Arizona is what can only be described as a beacon for naturalists and geologist alike. The rock formations are dynamic and seem to come to life depending on how the sun plays along the small cliffs and edges of each one. You can also find in this same area the "Coyote Buttes" the sand dunes offer a great panorama of photographic opportunity.
